BLTC Tennis Challenge Ladder

Admit it. We have all thought from time to time that we should be able to beat a better ranked player in the club. Well, now you have the chance to prove it. The BLTC Tennis Ladder Challenge is now in operation. You will have the opportunity to challenge a player up to 5 positions higher on the ladder. Should you win, you replace the player you have beaten and they drop down one spot. If you lose, your position on the ladder remains unchanged.

The initial ladders (one for males, one for females) together with the rules have been posted to notice boards in the clubhouse. Seniors and juniors have been included.

The initial ladders were created from players who belong to competition teams. If your name is not there, don’t worry. You can still challenge someone on the ladder and if you beat them, you take their place.

It’s up to you now. Read the rules, arrange your challenge and notify the Challenge Ladder Coordinator (Ian Thomas) of the result.
