Beaumaris Lawn Tennis Club regularly brings its community together with engaging social events.
One of the highlights is the Trivia Night—typically held in the Banksia Room in late May or early June. The evening is hosted by quiz personalities (recently QuizzaMe), and features rounds of picture, audio, and video questions. Members come in teams of ten to compete over light refreshments and BYO options, with fun extras like raffles, silent auctions, and awards for best‑dressed tables. It’s a relaxed yet spirited occasion where clubmates and families laugh, learn, and support the club—often raising useful funds for club amenities.
Later in the year, BLTC holds its glittering annual Gala & Awards Night, celebrating achievements across the club. This more formal evening sees top-performing juniors and adults honoured for their dedication, matches, and pennant wins.
The awards ceremony is usually accompanied by dinner, live music, and storytelling, giving members a chance to reflect on the season and bond with others.
It’s both a milestone event—commemorating excellence and progress, from club champions to spirited pennant teams—and a festive social gathering, strengthening connections across all ages and playing levels.
